The Troup County is a county located in the state of Georgia in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is LaGrange.

Geography

The County is located in the west of Georgia, bordering Alabama. It has an area of ​​1155 square kilometers, of which 83 square kilometers of water surface are bordered clockwise to the following counties: Heard County, Coweta County, Meriwether County and Harris County.

History
