Troy Brouwer

Troy Brouwer ( born August 17, 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since June 2011 the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Troy Brouwer was in the seventh round of the NHL Entry Draft, selected during 2004 a total of 214 players from the Chicago Blackhawks. His career as a hockey player began the Canadians at the Moose Jaw Warriors, for whom he played from 2001 to 2006 a total of five years in the Western Hockey League. In his last season with the Warriors, he received the Bob Clarke Trophy as the top scorer of the WHL with 102 points, including 49 goals.
