Troy Bruins (2009–2010)

The Troy Bruins were an American ice hockey team from Troy, Ohio. The team played in the season 2010/11 until January 5, 2011 in the All American Hockey League.

History

The Troy Bruins were founded in 2009 as a franchise of the Northern Junior Hockey League. After one season, the owners decided to change in the professional sector and joined the All American Hockey League game. On 31 August 2010, the league officially confirmed the inclusion of the team. The team was named on the basis of an eponymous team, that played in the International Hockey League from 1951 to 1959.

On 5 January 2011, the team announced his resolution known, told from all other games and dismissed all players. The last game of the Bruins had taken place on 31 December 2010 against the Queen City Storm.
