Troy Mellanson

Troy Mellanson ( born December 22, 1981 in Gray Farm) is a soccer player from Antigua and Barbuda, which is active for Kalamazoo Outrage in the U.S. and for the National Soccer Team of Antigua and Barbuda.

Career

Melanson first played in his homeland for Future Stars FC and FC Empire. At the age of 23, he finally went to the United States, where he played for the Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. In 2006 he moved finally to the University of South Carolina Upstate Spartanburg, South Carolina, a year later he went to Greensboro College to Greensboro, North Carolina. In early 2008 he signed a contract with Kalamazoo Outrage from Kalamazoo, Michigan.

In qualifying for the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, he played twice against Cuba.
