Troy Van Leeuwen
Troy Van Leeuwen ( born January 5, 1968 in Los Angeles, California ) is an American musician and the current guitarist for the rock band Queens of the Stone Age.
Career
Van Leeuwen played from 1996-1997 in the band Failure, and 3 years for A Perfect Circle. After recording their third studio album, Van Leeuwen rose at a Queens of the Stone Age in May 2002. He plays guitar, lap steel, keyboards and during the tour 2005-2006, including some bass. Van Leeuwen was also involved in a side project of his bandmates Josh Homme, the Desert Sessions. During a hiatus of Queens in 2008, Van Leeuwen dedicated to his side project, Sweet Head, and went with his new band on tour.
