Trpanj

Trpanj is a small port city in Croatia with a population of 721 ( 2011 census ). It consists of the cadastral Trpanj ( 598 inhabitants), Gornja Vrucica (46 inhabitants), Donja Vrućica (33 inhabitants) and Duba Peleska (44 inhabitants). It is located on the Adriatic coast of Dalmatia, in the southernmost Dubrovnik-Neretva county on the Peljesac peninsula, about 80 km from Dubrovnik. Trpanj is located at Neretvanski channel towards the port city of Ploce, consists of a car-ferry from here. It is surrounded by clean, natural rocky and sandy beaches and clear pine forests.

The climate is Mediterranean in the summer it gets up to 45 ° C hot.
