Trud (newspaper)
Trud (Russian Труд " work, work" ) was in the Soviet Union, the organ of the trade union committee and is now the third largest daily newspaper in Russia.
History
Trud was founded as a trade union body in 1921, and had in that capacity a circulation of 21.5 million copies last. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the propaganda organ of the steered by the Communists unions transformed to a normal daily with substantially less support.
Today
Trud currently has a circulation of 613,000 copies per day. It is the third largest daily newspaper titles in Russia. Trud sees himself as the voice of " center-left " in Russia. The publisher of the newspaper operates as " autonomous non-profit organization."
