Truyère
Entraygues -sur -Truyère
The Truyère is a river in France. It rises in the Massif Central, in the Margeride, in the Forêt- de -la -Croix -de- boron, initially flows to the northeast, but switches to the southwest later and ends after 167 kilometers as a right tributary at Entraygues -sur -Truyère in the Lot. In the lower reaches of the river has formed many deep ravines that are used by a long chain of reservoirs.
On their run, the Truyère touches the following villages, crossing the departments of:

Attractions
The Garabit Viaduct by Gustave Eiffel crosses a dam Truyère. It was the highest railway bridge in the world in the late 19th century.
