TRW Automotive Inc. ( Thompson Ramo Wooldridge ) is an American company in the automotive industry with headquarters in Livonia / Michigan. TRW Automotive is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

History and Structure

The defense, aerospace and electronics company TRW took over in 1997, the division airbag and steering wheel systems of Magna International and BDM International and the Temic Bayern Chemie Airbag in Aschau am Inn.
