TSA lock

A TSA lock is a special form of a closure, secured with the luggage. These locks were developed ( mainly in and from the United States ) during the tightening of security measures in international travel.

If in a piece of luggage suspicious or unidentifiable material are found by the x-ray screening, the TSA lock can be opened with a master key of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, searched the bag and the lock are then closed again. The right digit code or the key is not necessary to open up the regular luggage lock with TSA locks equipped with luggage.

Identification
