Tsandi is a settlement in the Omusati Region of Namibia, with around 2000 inhabitants. It is located 30 kilometers south of Outapi and about 125 kilometers from Oshakati. Tsandi lies 1102 meters above sea level in the same constituency Tsandi. Tsandi is on one of the flat ephemeral watercourses ( Oshanas ) through early, high level.

Economy and infrastructure

Within the same constituency only the place Tsandi is connected to the electricity network in the country. A fiber-optic cable linking the site to at the Namibian telephone network. In the village there is also a post office, a police station, a gas station, a hotel, a bakery and many shops and supermarkets. In addition, local branches of many national ministries are located in the resort.

Attractions

In Tsandi is the residence of the Uukwaluudhi King. This office is currently being dressed by King Shikongo Josea Taapopi whose traditional residence can be visited today, while he himself now in a solid stone house close to this traditional residence lives ( 2005).
