TSG Bergedorf 1860
The TSG Bergedorf 1860 is a sports club from the district of Hamburg Bergedorf. The first football team played six years in the highest amateur league in Hamburg.
History
In 1902, established members of the Bergedorf Turnerschaft the Bergedorf FC 1902, in 1918 united with the game club 04 Bergedorf games and sports Bergedorf. On February 26, 1965 Pupils merged with the gymnastic club TSG 1860 to today, the one with about 10,000 members of the largest sports clubs of Hamburg.
Football
The footballer TSG made in 1924 first attracted attention when they reached the championship of the second division, but missed the jump in the highest league. Four years later, the TSG managed though the climb was because of the football revolution there but not compete. Following the reorganization of the North German leagues, the Bergedorf found again in the second division again. In 1954, the TSG dismounted in the district league, but made the chances of promotion.
For ten years the Association League remained the home of the Bergedorf before in 1965 reached the summit in the amateur league Hamburg. For a long time the team played one of the first two places, the persons entitled to participate in the promotion round to the Regionalliga Nord. By season's end, it was enough for fifth place. Athletics
Ingo Schultz, the European champion in the 400 -meter run in 2002 began his career at TSG, for which he started from 1997 to 2000 and from 2002 to 2004.
Table tennis
The table tennis Department of TSG stood for many years in the shadow of local rivals and temporary Second Bundesliga ASV Bergedorf 85, but rose in the 1990s to become the leading club in Hamburg East. Since the early 2000s, the TSG Bergedorf forms with the SC four and Marschlande the gaming community table tennis friends Bergedorf / four-and marshlands, named BVM. The first men's team (of eight ) of the table tennis friends returned in 2012 as Master of the Hamburg- League in the Oberliga Nord back, in which she plays since then. The three ladies teams playing in the county league. In youth, the gaming community takes in the season 2013/14 with a boy, two girls and four student teams at the game operation part, the first team of the girls in the performance class, the highest youth league starts.
