Tshering Tobgay

Tshering Tobgay ( born September 19, 1965 in Haa (Bhutan) ) is a Bhutanese politician.

Tobgay is a founding member and chairman of the People's Democratic Party ( DPD). He studied at the University of Pittsburgh engineering and management sciences at Harvard University. After he had worked from 2003 to 2007 in the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, he was from March 2008 to April 2013 Opposition leader in the Bhutanese parliament. Since 27 July 2013, is the Prime Minister of Bhutan.
