Tsugaru, Aomori

Tsugaru (Japaneseつがる市, -shi ) is a city in Aomori Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.

Geography

Tsugaru is located west of Aomori and north of Hirosaki.

History

Tsugaru was on 11 February 2005 from the former Machi Kizukuri (木造 町, machi ) and the Mura Morita (森 田村, -mura ), Kashiwa (柏村, -mura ), Inagaki (稲 垣 村, -mura ) and Shariki ( 车 力 村, -mura ) was founded in Nishitsugaru -gun.
