The Tsugaru Peninsula (Japanese津 軽 半岛, Tsugaru - Hanto ) is a peninsula in Aomori Prefecture at the northern end of the island of Honshu in Japan.
The Peninsula extends northward into the Tsugaru Strait separates Hokkaidō from Honshū, the. The west coast is on the Japan Sea, on the east coast are the Aomori Mutsu Bay and the Bay. On the other side of the Tsugaru Strait to the north is the Matsumae Peninsula, to which it is connected at the narrowest point of the road with the Seikan Tunnel.
