Tsuyoshi Ichinohe

Tsuyoshi Ichinohe (Jap.一 戸 刚, Ichinohe Tsuyoshi, born 9 June 1976) is a Japanese ski jumpers and Nordic combined.

From 2000 to 2002 Ichinohe started in B- World Cup Nordic Combined. He scored his best result here with the 2nd place on 5 February 2000 in his debut race at Andel book. On 19 January 2002, he played his last match as a combiner.

On 10 January 2003 Ichinohe launched for the first time in the Continental Cup and reached on the normal hill in Sapporo the 11th Place and thus also his first Continental Cup points. Two weeks later, on 25 January 2003, he was nominated then under the National Group for the World Cup competition in Sapporo. For the first jump, he did not occur, but reached the second jumping to 46th place. He jumped further in the Continental Cup and achieved first top 10 results there. At the World Cup competition on January 24th and 25th, 2004 in Sapporo, he could again qualify for the finals, but again reached with number 40 and space 35 no World Cup points. A year later, he won his first ski jump on the same Continental Cup competitions after the jump he was previously in the season 2004/ 05 succeeded several times in the Top 10. On 5 February 2005, he joined again at the World Cup in Sapporo and was able to win this time his first World Cup points with 27th place in the first competition and 16th in the second event. In the team competition on 12 February 2005 at Pragelato he reached the 6th place together with Daiki Ito, Takanobu Okabe and Noriaki Kasai. The World Cup season 2005/ 06 started not so successful for Ichinohe. So he mostly stayed out of the points. However, on his home hill in Sapporo he could convince again and jumped with space 14, the single best result of his career in the World Cup.

At the Olympic Winter Games 2006, he reached on the large hill and came in 25th place in the team competition on the 6th Place.

When team World Cup competitions on March 4, 2006, he reached the 4th place with the team. Following this, he could reach no more front seats and won only in a jumping World Cup points. His last World Cup competition on December 16, 2006 in Engelberg, he finished on the 48th place. After two jump in the FIS Cup in Japan, he finished after jumping on March 10, 2007 in Sapporo Ski Jumping temporarily his active career. On 8 January 2011, he celebrated surprising in a Continental Cup in Sapporo a 20th place. In the season 2011/12 he again heard at the C- squad of Japanese Ski Association.
