TSV Eching

The TSV Eching is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian town of Eching in the district of Freising. In addition to the successful football department of the club leads a department for winter sports.

History

The club was founded in 1947 as a football club. After three decades at the county and district levels of the club in 1981 rose for the first time on the inter-regional division. Two years later promotion to the Bavarian League. The descent into the first season was followed by the immediate re- ascent. But the second year in the highest Bavarian amateur league ended in relegation zone. After interim descent into the district league succeeded in 1990, the third rise in the Bavarian League. This time took the Bavarian league three years time, the 6th place in 1990/91 was the best ever placement in the club's history. After relegation in 1993 was followed by twelve years in the State League South, before the team in 2005 even descent into the district of Upper Bavaria Northern League in the Bezirksoberliga and 2007. Here, however, managed directly championship and resurgence, and in 2009 was enough for 2nd place in the Bezirksoberliga Upper Bavaria, about 2009/10 a season in the national league south to play. 17th place meant but straight back down. 2010/11 the club as a master returned again in the national league.
