TSV Hirschaid

The TSV Hirschaid ( gymnastics and sports club Hirschaid ) is a sports club from Hirschaid. The club offers football on the sports badminton, basketball, judo, skiing, athletics, chess, swimming, table tennis, gymnastics and hiking.

History

The history of football in Hirschaid goes back to the year 1920. First, there was a team of gymnastics club, then made up from 1924 a pure football club SpVgg called Hirschaid. During the period of inflation, the club was very economical and had great difficulty even to survive financially. Nevertheless, they celebrated at this time already some successes, the early 30s were increasing even after the construction of their own playing field.

The big time came, but only after the Second World War. Under the leadership of Fritz Meusel, the rise in the county league Upper Franconia -West was won in a very short time until 1947. The well-known under the name " Kreisligaelf " team came to the Upper Franconian Cup final until the club nearly documents in June 1947 the then second division team of the 1st FC Bamberg with 3:4. In the period 1947 to 1949 the club played in the county league. The sporty performance of the club was very changeable in these years.

After the club played since 1949 in the A-Class, as the A -Class replaced the county league, they played there until the 1954 season / 55th 1955/56, followed the descent into the B-Class, but after two years the club was relegated back to the A - class, in which the team lasted until season 1964/65. As the club had missed out in 1965 with just one point behind the rise in the district league, the team got off the following year. The club spent two years playing in the B-Class until the TSV Hirschaid 1966/67, the championship celebrated in the B-Class. At that time even the playoffs were necessary to win the championship. The team won this with 1:1 and 5:2 against the rivals from Strullendorf.

In the A-Class 1967/68 season the TSV finished level on points with ASV Sassanfahrt advancement rightful place. The decider against SC 08 Bamberg won 1-0 for the Hirschaider club. Thus, the club finished in first place and was entitled to the rise in the district league. After the sports court but decided after three cases, the club had yet continue to play in the A-Class. But the following year, you could win the 1st place, four points clear at the ASV Sassanfahrt. But the second and the third team this year celebrated the championship. This is unique to this day.

In the first year in the district league in season 1969/70 the club was able to win the runner-up. They had to thank for their 1966 committed players coach Friedhelm, who came from the first FC Bamberg then.

The club played now permanently in the district league until the TSV 1979 was even recorded the rise in the Bavarian League. There, however, was followed by the direct re- descent. The crew then survived until 1984 in the national league until the club then descended from the national league in the district league. There, the club played until 1988 in the district league, as the gymnastics and sports club, then rose as a master in the Bezirksoberliga. There, the club was promoted to the national league. Since the club but rose again as Table from the Bezirksoberliga. In 1992, when the club relegated from the Bezirksoberliga, had to play in the district league TSV immediately. After two years, then followed the descent of the district league in the A-Class. After the Hirschaider gymnastic and sporting club in the first year was talking to a good seventh place in the table in the A-Class, followed in the next year, the fall in the B-Class ( circle class). In the season 1996 /97 TSV reached a second place in the table, the person entitled to participate in the relegation in the circle class. There, the club won 4-1 and was entitled to the rise in the county league. The club played in the county league with good, and was authorized in 2001 as a champion for the promotion to the County League.
