Tteok

Tteok ( 떡 ) are Korean rice cakes that are made from glutinous rice flour. Rice cakes are often served in Korea on holidays. So ( Seollal ) is often eaten tteokguk (rice cake soup ) on New Year's Day. A common everyday dish with Tteok is the very sharp by Gochujang Tteokbokki.
