Club history

The club in 1963 as Thailand Tobacco Monopoly FC was founded. The club is a work of self- government tobacco company Thailand Tobacco Monopoly. 1996/97 the club took part in the inaugural season of the Thai Premier League, but could not hold the league. Only in 2000 the club managed to rise again in the first division. Then took Yasoob, under this name, the club is also known in Thailand, three times in a row each 8th place in the table. At the end of the 2004/05 season was a complete surprise winning the first championship for the club. Winning the championship entitled the club to participate in the AFC Champions League. Tobacco Monopoly, however, was excluded by the AFC from the competition. There is no assignable reason for it. Maybe, but the necessary papers were not filed until after the deadline or not. A 4th and 8th place followed a disappointing 12th place in the 2008 season. Here we narrowly avoided relegation. Already in the years before the club had great difficulty in finding a proper home, and often moved stadium and location. At the start of the 2009 season, the club Samut Sakhon in was located. To get a closer bond to the place, the club renamed Samut Sakhon in Thailand Tobacco Monopoly Football Club. Another reason for the renaming lies in the fact that clubs in the Premier League since 2009 must be a registered company. The season of the club then proceeded relatively turbulent. First Attaphol Buspakom was presented as the new coach. However, he left the club before the start of the season towards Muang Thong United. He was succeeded by Kij Meesrisuk, which was then released back into the season break. Prajuk Viengsong became his successor. He had cared for the club last July 2008 to November 2008. At the end of the 2009 season was at least an 8th place. After only one year in Samut Sakhon TTM moved again on. This time after Phichit. The club had been doing quite able to establish itself within a short time in Samut Sakhon. Why then reacted especially the new fans of the club with little understanding on the march.
