Tu B'Av

Tu B'Av (Hebrew ט"ו באב, German 15th of Av ) is a small Jewish holiday that starts on the night between the 14th and 15th day of the month of Av, a full moon night. He is now regarded as rejoicing, as it symbolizes the beginning of the vintage as well as some historical events. These include for example the victory of the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the permission to bury the fallen in Betar followers of Bar Kochba.
