Tucker Smallwood

Tucker Smallwood ( born February 22, 1944 in Washington, DC ) is an American actor and author.

Life

As the eldest son of an educator and a diplomat Tucker Smallwood appeared in 1967 in the U.S. Army. Here he was appointed officer in the infantry and served as tactical officer at Fort Benning.

Smallwood tried the Vietnamese language and later headed a mobile team of consultants during the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, Tucker Smallwood was recovering from his war wounds and moved to New York where he studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse.

He is also the author and narrator of the audio book " Return to Eden ", an anthology of 33 essays that both describes his adventures as a military advisor in Vietnam, and his life as an actor after that - and his return to Vietnam in 2004.

An avid musician, he sang all the voices on the delta blues album " Incarnation: The Robert Johnson Project".
