Tucipita is the capital of the state of Delta Amacuro in eastern Venezuela.

The city was founded in 1848, it now has over 70,000 inhabitants. It is located on the eastern shore of Caño Manamo, a tributary of the delta of the Orinoco River, about 110 kilometers from the coast.
