Tufan Miñnullin

Miñnullin Tufan Gabdulla Uli, usually only Tufan Miñnullin ( Tatar Туфан Габдулла улы Миңнуллин, Russian Туфан Абдуллович Миннулин, Tufan Abdullowitsch Minnulin; born August 25, 1935 in Bolschoye Meretkosino in Rajon Kamsko - Ustjinskiij; † 2, 2012 in Kazan ), was a russian- Tatar author and screenwriter. He was a member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan since 1990.

Tufan Miñnullin studied at the Shchepkin Theatre School in Moscow and worked as an actor at Menzelinsk Theatre. From 1962 he had success as a writer for theater plays.

From 1984 to 1989 he headed the board of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan; Since 1996 he was a member of P.E.N. club.
