Tuff Gong

Tuff Gong was founded as a record label of the late reggae musician Bob Marley and his band The Wailers in the 1970s. The group also ran a recording studio of the same name in Marley's house. Iceland Records used the trade mark in order to publish their Bob Marley records. The label is now under the leadership of Marley's eldest daughter Cedella Marley and works successfully in Jamaica.

The name of the label " Tuff Gong " was the same Bob Marley nickname and turn refers to the well-known Rastafarian priest Leonard P. Howell, who was known as " The Gong ".
