The river Tuhala (Estonian Tuhala Jõgi ) flows in the north of the Republic of Estonia.

It rises on the eastern edge of the bog near the village of Mahtra Kirivalla (Town Koue in Harju County ). It crosses the moor of Järlepa.

The Tuhala river empties into the river Pirita, the left tributary he is. The river is named after the village Tuhala, at the historic mansion he passes by.

The Tuhala Jõgi is 26 km long. 1.5 km of the river run underground. Its catchment area is 112 km ².
