Tuhu ( German Tuhho ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Lihula ( Lihula vald ) in Lääne.
Population and location
The place has nine inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). Its area is 9.1 km ².
West of the village flows the river Tuudi ( Tuudi Jõgi ).
Fen
To the south lies the fen of Tuhu ( Tuhu soo ). The 3710.2 -acre area is a nature reserve since 1981. Since 1999 it has been designated a conservation area ( Tuhu maastikukaitseala ). Due to the Moor is a walking path. Previously, there was also a lookout tower.
