Tulbing

Tulbing is a market town with 2890 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Tulln in Lower Austria.

Geography

Tulbing is located in the province of Lower Austria. The area of ​​the municipality covers 18.36 square kilometers, 38.61 percent are forested.

Tulbing extends from the northern slope of the Vienna Woods to the Tullner field. Transport default, the municipality of Vienna West / Wall Bach or Vienna / Klosterneuburg Holy City and is easily accessible.

History

In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place told the eventful history of Austria. In 1109 for the first time the name Tulpingun was mentioned. The Tulbing castle was located on a hill 100 m southeast of the parish church. Culture and sights
