Tumacacori -Carmen is a census -designated place in Santa Cruz County in the U.S. state of Arizona. Tumacacori -Carmen has 569 inhabitants on an area of 16.1 square km. The village is affected by the Interstate 19 and is located on the Santa Cruz River.

History

Tumacacori is located at the site where end 1700 a Franciscan mission was built. Tumacacori got its name from an earlier mission in 1691 by missionary Eusebio Francisco Kino.
