Tumor board review

A tumor board (also: the tumor conference ) offers an approach to the treatment planning for malignant diseases, in which a number of doctors who are experts in various medical disciplines, examine the medical condition and the treatment options of a patient and discuss. The Department of the participants of a tumor boards depend on the particular disease. Regularly represented are oncologists, surgical employed doctors from various disciplines (surgery, gynecology, senology, urology ), as well as radiologists, radiation oncologists and pathologists.
