Tung Wah Hospital

Officially Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, colloquially Tung Wah is a Hong Kong charitable institution in the service of the public.

It was built in 1870 by order of the government and is led by Chinese since time immemorial. At this institution, belongs to a group of well-known five hospitals ( for example, the Tung Wah Hospital and Kwong Wah Hospital ) and a variety of treatment centers spread all over the city. The task includes medical care, outpatient as well as inpatient treatment and the free provision of medicines and aids to the needy. For medical assistance donations are accepted, so that more people can benefit from the services.

The Tung Wah Group operates five hospitals with a total of 2,666 beds. It also maintains 51 facilities such as schools and kindergartens.
