Tunisian Handball Federation

The Fédération de Tunisie de handball ( f thb ) was founded in 1953 under the name Ligue Tunisienne de Football. On November 19, 1953, the Tunisian Handball Championship has begun for the first time. At this first championship six teams participated. In July 1957 she was renamed Fédération de Tunisie de handball and in 1962 the International Handball Federation occurred. In 1974 she has entered the African Handball Federation.
