Turbigo is a municipality with 7375 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Milan, Lombardy region.
Turbigo was the site of the Battle of Turbigo in which Victor Emmanuel II (Italy ) defeated the Sardinian War Ferencz József Gyulay, which Turbigo again belonged to Italy.
Turbigo counts 3,053 households. Between 1991 and 2001, the population fell slightly from 7,275 to 7,225. This corresponds to a percentage decrease of 0.7%.
