Turgut Aykaç

Turgut Aykac ( born January 1, 1958 in Adana ) is a retired Turkish boxer. He won a bronze medal in the featherweight at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

After a bye in the first preliminary round, he defeated then the Spaniard Raúl Trapero (5:0), the Dominican Abraham Lousy ( TKO ) and the Egyptian Mohamed Hegazi ( TKO ) before retiring in the semifinals against the Nigerian Peter Konyegwachie (0: 5).

At the European Championships 1985 in Budapest, he reached the quarter- finals where he was defeated by Samson Khachatryan from the Soviet Union.
