Turkish Regional Amateur League

The Bölgesel Amatör Lig (short BAL or BAL Lig ) since its foundation in the summer of 2010, the fifth-highest league and the highest amateur league in Turkish football. Before its reestablishment being discharged in the years 1991 to 1995.

Game Mode

The Bölgesel Amatör Lig consists of eleven groups (2010/ 11: twelve groups, 2011/12 and 2012/13: 13 groups ), for this " Free-for -All " is played with back and leg in each mode. The first two finishers in the eleven groups ( 22 teams ) will qualify for the play-off promotion round, which leads to the rise in the third TFF Lig. The winners of the eleven groups come without a fight in the second play-off round. Of the remaining eleven teams are eight drawn for the first play-off round, on neutral ground a play against each other. The three teams that have not been drawn for the first play-off round, also come without a fight in the second play-off round.

The second play-off round consists of the winners of the eleven groups, the four winning teams from the first play-off round and the three teams who got a bye in the first round. These 18 teams will again contest a play-off on neutral ground, the winner in the lowest professional league in Turkish football, the third TFF Lig ascend.

The two last placed in the groups descend in the Süper Lig Amatör.
