Turkish Women's First Football League

The bayanlar Futbol Ligi is the highest division in the Turkish women's football. Ten teams determine the Turkish champions in league system.

History

The league was founded in 1993 and went with 30 teams in their first season. Due to poor structuring and poor young talent to the field of participants reduced to ten teams. For three years the game has ceased operations. Since 2006 is played again for points.
