Turkmenistan Davis Cup team
The Turkmen Davis Cup team is the national team of Turkmenistan tennis, which represents the country in the Davis Cup.
History
Turkmenistan took first time in 2004 at the Davis Cup in part, and lost the first 14 encounters. The first victory was achieved against Bahrain the team in 2007. The team has played exclusively in the continental group IV of Ozeanien-/Asienzone, but was first time in 2012 to reach the playoff for the Continental Group III, where it was defeated, however, Cambodia 0-3.
The most successful player so far Myalikkuli Mamedkuliyev with twelve wins and 18 defeats.
