Turmberg

The tower hill (256 m above sea level. NHN, formerly Hohenberg ) is the local mountain of the Karlsruhe district Durlach. He is a popular destination and - on a clear day - an estimated viewpoint overlooking the Rhine valley about 140 m below, the Palatinate Forest and the Alsace. On the Turmberg leads the Tower Mountain Railway, a funicular railway from 1888.

Geography
