Tusari is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Nõva ( Nõva vald ) in Lääne.

Population, location and history

The village has 16 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It is situated 27 kilometers north-east of the district capital of Haapsalu.

Through the village the river Nõva ( Nõva Jõgi ) flows.

The area belonged since the 14th century the nunnery of Lihula. 1402, the village was under the name Tursever or Thursever subordinated to the monastery Padise as part of a land swap.
