Tustna

Tustna is an island, since 1874 was an independent municipality and is since 1 January 2006, a place in the Norwegian municipality in Aure Fylke (administrative district ) Møre og Romsdal. The administrative center of the municipality is Aure.

Prior to the merger with Aure on 1 January 2006 following a decision of 24 June 2004, the population of the former municipality Tustna 1006 was in an area of ​​139.0 square kilometers.

Since the end of 2006 Tustna is connected by two bridges over the Sunde Imarsundet and Litjsundet with Aure. It was built of 185 million NOK expensive road section of the RV680 by Bilfinger Berger AG. The " Imarsundbrücke " is a 550m long steel composite bridge. Three of the four pillars in the water were founded on Stahlrammpfählen in a water depth of up to 40m. The " Litjsund bridge " is a 300m long concrete bridge with a main span of 160m. It was prepared by the balanced cantilever method.

Attractions

The Kråksundet Notnaust above Sjøbruksmuseum is a boathouse and fishing equipment museum. It is located on the island Tustna in Kråksundet at Golma. In the old fishermen's houses that have been built around 1900, are approximately 450 items of fishing boats as well as the Nordmørsgeita, the " Northern Mors - goat" issued.
