Tutin, Serbia

Tutin ( Serbian Cyrillic Тутин ) is a small town of about 9,111 inhabitants in the southwest of Serbia, 35 km southwest of Novi Pazar in the district of Raška. It is the administrative seat of the Opština Tutin.

94.2 % of the population describe themselves as Bosniaks, 4.3% as Serbs. Tutin counts, like most municipalities in southern Serbia, the poorest of Serbia. However, the city experiences long been a relatively robust recovery, which is expressed in a clearly visible construction activity throughout the city. Not far from Tutin, the river Ibar its course.
