Tuukka Rask

Tuukka Rask ( born March 10, 1987 in Savonlinna ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League play and was taken in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of 21 place.

Career

Tuuka Rask started his career with SaPKo Savonlinna, for whom he made ​​his debut during the 2002 /03 in the Suomi- sarja. In parallel, he ran for the juniors of the club in the Junior -A - Suomi sarja. Boston Bruins

Internationally

Rask represented Finland at the U18 World Junior Championships in 2004 and 2005, and at the U20 World Junior Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

At the World Championships the U18 Junior 2004 Rask graduated five games in which he reached a Gegentorschnitt of 1.61 and a catch quota of 92.7%. He was statistically the best goalkeepers in the tournament. A year later he could not confirm these benefits, especially since he came in both the U18 and U20 at the World Championships for use. At the Olympic Hockey Tournament in Sochi in 2014, he won the bronze medal with the Finnish national team and remained in the third place play without conceding a goal.
