The Tuvalu Sports Ground is the only multi-purpose stadium in Tuvalu. All football and rugby matches are played here. Also Tuvalu A- Division and all other tournaments are held in this stadium.

On the roof of the stadium solar modules are mounted. These panels provide Funafuti with about 5 % of the total energy demand.
