TV Nova (Czech Republic)

TV Nova is a full program - private TV station in the Czech Republic. The first broadcast was on 4 February 1994 from Prague over the airwaves. Meanwhile, it is the most-watched TV station. First Director General of the transmitter was Vladimir Zelezny.

Problems of the transmitter

In addition to his financial success and as the most-watched channel, conflicts arose between the license owners CET 21 and CME Lauder Group, which funded the launch of the television channel. As a result of these conflicts of the Czech state was ordered to pay a compensation of ten billion crowns to the CME.

Seat

By September 1999, when the conflict began with CME, beamed from the transmitter from the Vladislavova street in Prague, after which the seat was moved to Barrandov film studios.
