In the 1990s there were plans to privatize the transmitter; However, it has been implemented only the transformation of legal form to a joint stock company through which, however, retained the state's control.

In May 2000, the station was renamed back to Canal 7 and increasingly integrated entertainment and fiction broadcasts. 2002, the program line was divided into two parts, each controlled the fictional and non- fictional content. Since 2006 was restored to more cultural and documentation in a further renewal of the transmitter.
