TV Tsentr

TVI (Russian:. ТВЦ, also ТВ Центр / TV Tsentr / TVC engl transcription) is a television station in the Russian capital Moscow, which can be received nationally. The station has about 2,000 employees.

History

TVI was founded in 1997 and is from the beginning to more than 99 % owned by the Moscow City Government. TW Tsentr has long been regarded as a home station of former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov. Market shares

The market share of TVI was in Russia in 2003 nationwide about 3%, in Moscow itself over 7%. Approximately one in five Russians stated in a 2004 survey that they had seen in the last week TVI.
