TV2 (Hungary)

TV2 is the second largest private television channel in Hungary and went in October 1997 as the first private television broadcasting. Broadcast is a varied program consisting of series and original programming for the key demographic group of 18 - to 49 -year-olds. Owner of TV2, was until December 2013, the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, which also ran the following transmitter FEM3, PRO 4 and Super TV2. Officially joined the owners through a management buyout. The former CEO Zsolt Simon and his chief financial officer took over the Hungarian and the Romanian station transmitter chain.

TV2 is the biggest rival of RTL Klub for first place in the ranking of the most viewed Hungarian private channels.
