TV4 Sport

TV4 Sport is a private, free, Swedish sports channel. The channel is broadcast by private Swedish TV4 Group and shows sports and game shows, as well as reality shows and documentaries. TV4 Sport has the media rights for the UEFA Europa League in Sweden for the period from 2012 to 2015. Moreover, the TV4 Group secured the media rights of the Swedish Football League for 2016-2019 to some games on TV4 Sport to send.

History

The channel was launched on 17 March 2005 by the newspaper Expressen Expressen operated under the name of sport. A year later, the TV4 Group acquired equity shares and became the majority shareholder. The channel was renamed TV4 Sport and relaunched on 1 September 2007. He replaced euro sport analog programs Com Hem.
