TVP HD

TVP HD is a HD TV channel of the Polish public broadcaster Polish Television, which started on 6 August 2008 at 10.50 clock.

The channel should broadcast only the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing at the beginning. Later, the station also broadcast other sports events (eg soccer, basketball), series and movies, mainly productions of TVP. So TVP HD broadcasts such as the talent show The Voice of Poland, which is broadcast on TVP2.

The channel is broadcast with a resolution of 1080i. However, it was announced the standard resolution of 720p.

Broadcast is the channel on two satellites: Eutelsat Hot Bird and Astra 1KR 13C.

Reception

TVP HD is distributed in Poland by cable and satellite. Per the cable channel z of provider UPC Polska, Toya, Neostrada TP telewizja (cable), Multimedia Polska and Vectra is offered. He's menu available on the provider Cyfra , n, Cyfrowy Polsat and Telewizja na via satellite. Per IPTV transmitter at Orange is offered.
