TVP Katowice (tower)

TVP Katowice is a program window of the Polish Television for the Silesian Voivodeship, which will be broadcast on TVP Regionalna. It is headquartered in Katowice and two regional studios in Częstochowa and Bielsko- Biala.

TVP Katowice launched on 3 December 1957 as the Polish Television Katowice with the words " Tu Polish Television Katowice " ("Here is the television Katowice "). Since the launch of TVP Opole in 2005 TVP Katowice sends exclusively for the Silesian Voivodeship.

Until 31 August 2013 the regional window of 16 regional stations were broadcast on TVP Info. Since September 1, the additional 18 hours long broadcast on TVP Regionalna.
